Two sufferers may describe it two different ways. My version is a whizzing sound just like I have a hair drier over my head, while there are sufferers who claim ringing and some who claim roaring. I remember another co tinnitus sufferer who said she hears bullet trains whenever hear head would congest.

We are all praying that a nonstop research is transpiring all day to find the cure for this agony. While the waiting continues, more and more sufferers are killing themselves. An audiologist in Huntingdon claims to have three patients during his practice who hit the bottom and committed suicide.

The fact that more and more kids are carelessly ruining their sense of hearing with vociferous music is bothering this audiologist. I suppose it’s not the music itself. I am thinking even ballads could cause it once the volume gets loud enough.

I found myself in a party one fateful day in a low ceilinged dance floor that I had to plug my ears with cotton. It was a bitter pill because he told me I had tinnitus, that it wouldn’t go away and that I have to learn to live with it. It is certainly not simple so I am pleading to the kids to take heed of the advice they hear with regard to the volume of their music. It is hard to imagine the noise levels they allow to enter their ears.

Now that they are young, the hearing loss seem nonexistent and they only remember their excellent ancient earphone days once they experience the long term effects. Residual hearing in older age can be predicted as early as the youthful years basing on how a person listens. Six out of 10 freshmen students in college are experiencing hearing losses and the culprit is loud music.

From another informant, we have learned that newborn infants are predisposed to ear distress from blustering and the worse result is brain cell loss. Sounds of the loud low frequency type should be kept away from new born babies, like those you get from jet engines or chain saws. Warning from Swedish researchers on toys that make too much noise and the harm it poses. A seemingly harmless squeaky rubber squeeze toys position near the ear can really produce 108 decibels which is the same loudness a chain saw makes.
